The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa, a four diamond resort in the US's most luxurious destination, features 732 guest rooms, 55 suites, 32 casitas, eight restaurants, meeting rooms, boardrooms, the 25,000 square foot Kierland Grand Ballroom and a full-service spa. Outdoor amenities include a 27-hole championship golf course, tennis facilities, numerous courtyards, and a 9,000 square foot water park. When they decided to improve guest satisfaction by offering seamless, single sign-on high-speed wireless Internet access throughout the resort, they looked at one solution that required over 100 nodes. Then they looked at BelAir Networks. In just a few days, they had 12 BelAir nodes installed providing ubiquitous indoor and outdoor coverage. The guests are happy and the IT department is happy because the network is reliable, resulting in fewer support calls, and incredibly cost-efficient, requiring fewer nodes, and less wiring, labor, and installation time than competing solutions.
